I am in the process of acquiring a new Sauer S100 in 6.5 PRC. Does anyone have a favorite recipe for 140 Nosler Ballistic Tip? Rusty We Band of Brothers! I shoot the same rifle you are getting and while I have not shot the 140 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip I have shot other 140 grain bullets. 140 grain Nosler Partition with 57 grains RL-26 and Fed 210M primer chronied at 3165 fps on two sessions with inch group. I use only Fed 210M primers on all loads. 143 grain Hornady ELDX 57 grains RL-26 did 3111 fps with inch group. Other loads follow. 130 grain Barnes TSX 61.5 grains RL-25 3273 fps two inch group. 120 grain Barnes TSX 64 grains Magpro 3284 fps inch group, another group same bullet 67.5 grain Magpro 3319 fps with 1.5 inch result. My barrel is 22 inchs. I just shot in a new Ruger rifle with a 26 inch barrel and am excited to see how it shoots. Hope this helps with your project. Good Shooting. phurley | |||
