Have Lee used 45 ACP dies, are they the carbide type?

Red cylindrical case.

Lee-45ACP-F2
Yellow Powder Measure
Metal Bullet holder

Look at the opening of the sizing die (the one with the decapping pin sticking out of it). Do you see a black ring right at the mouth of the opening, or is the inside smooth and silver all the way up?
The sizing die is the only one that will have a carbide ring, the others (bell and seat) are plain steel all the way up.

To the best of my knowledge, Lee does not offer a plain steel die set in 45 ACP. Plus, their steel pistol die sets are supposed to be packaged in a green cylinder, not the red one you have. I'll bet you have a nice set of carbide dies there. maxman
