The old Egyptian powder is too fast for this one.

I am loading a relatively mild load with H4350.

We are off in about a month.

We have new friends joining us this year.

They have never been to Africa before, but have been hunting all their lives.

They are our neighbors from Sweden.

Might be an eye opener for them after moose hunting with dogs!

Yes, we are going to a new area, and we are looking forward to it.

Yep, having lots of fun, along with hard hunting, is how it should be.
For some reason I thought you were heading off early September. But one month is not too long to wait to start following your hunt progress posts.
I bet your Swedish friends are looking forward to it as much as everyone else.

Another fun filled, totally entertaining safari for ALL of us to enjoy. Can't wait for the reports and pics to roll in. I'm sure we'll be treated to some real surprises this time around!

some friends were here when I did this video.

One said "Now show us how these NO MISS ammo shoot"

I gave him 3 rounds and said "here, you try them"

He laughed, and said "You kidding? I don't shoot anything bigger than a 6.5. These rattle your brains, and you are perfect example of it!"

Then they started arguing how well this ammo will shoot.

I said "these are guaranteed to shoot within a MINUTE OF BUFFALO!"

More laughter.

One "and the buffalo is wider than this tunnel!"

More laughter.

I thought I would put an end to it, so got them all to put on ear muffs.

I sat down and fired 3 shots in quick succession.

One said "do you actually aim?"

The one looking through the spotting scope said "Why should he aim? All shots are in the same HOLE!"

I went and got the target.

Measured it.

0.494" for 3 shots at 100 yards.

I said "anyone would like to try?"

"I cannot shoot like that with a 223! No thanks" came one reply.
