Is there a good share ware program out there?

The one I am using that still works but is long past any of today printers and was good in ~1984.

Looked on line and found this site
http://www.stevespages.com/page8b.htm

Is a site that has a lot of different programs and demo. Anyone tried any of these?
I hesitate to down load much of anything any more. Smiler

Thanks,

Jim

Point Blank worked well for me in the past. I believe Steve still lists it on his site.

I like:

Norma Ballistics

When home page comes up, click on<Ballistic>, then on <Ballistics US>. A small window will open while program opens.

Thanks,

Got to looking at my old DOS program and it was done in 87. Still does a good job but long time since I have seen a Dot matrix printer that will work on it. Smiler Saw a newer version on Steve's but still not many printers around from 95 either. Wink

Guess it is getting old like us.

Thanks,

Jim

I'm still using a original version of the Barnes Ballistics, which when I got it I was running a DOS based PC. Still works fine and as good as any out there I have tried. Best part is it saves the tables in a Word format so it will still print on my laser jet.

I still have one of the dot matrix as well that works fine. Just getting pretty darn hard to find ribbons for it. LOL

Hornady has a free one available on their website. I downloaded one for my iPhone called Let Fly and it generates data very very closely to the Hornady calculator.

You can print the results from the Hornady site, no need to download or install anything. Just have your data like B.C., fps etc available.
