I have a Springfield M1A. Do you have any loads that work well in the gas guns?

Hornady's reloading manual has a section for military "gas" gun reloads. That said.
My M1A always liked 41.0 grains of IMR 4895 in a LC case and a Sierra 168 gr Matchking.

I was given this load for the 308 many years ago.

It has worked so well in so many different 308's, bolt, lever, and gas [M1-A's, Garands, FN-FAL's, H&K 91's etc], including match and Sniper rifles, that with the exception of Palma and Long Range Any-Any, I still use it when I reload.

I have taken a lot of game with this load including anrelope at 550+ yards with a Sierra HPBT Gameking.

I use this load with Sierra 168 Match King's, 165 Sierra HPBT Gamekings, 165 Nosler Ballistic Tips, and 165 Nosler Partitions.

Any of the above bullets and 39.5gr of IMR 3031.

There are a lot of good powders and loads for the 308, but that load has worked great in every 308 I have tried it in.

This load has shot exceptionally well is several Springfield M1-A's, both Match, Super Match and especially in standard rifles.
