My Hodgdon yearly manual, the magazine style one, has data for both. I`d check the powder companies web sites and see if they have any listed. (the best place to look for RELIABLE free data)I`m sure they`d have some available if you wrote and asked, I have seen 44 auto mag loads in some older manuals I own, and most have 45 mag data yet today. BTW, I don`t remember the load, but I used H110 under 180 Sierras in my auto mag. Shot like a rifle, very accurate! The action was quite stiff and full house loads were needed to cycle the action at that time. I don`t know if the later ones or more worn ones act the same, I sold the gun back in the early 70`s -1973 or 74- and have kicked myself ever since. ------------------------------------ The trouble with the Internet is that it's replacing masturbation as a leisure activity. ~Patrick Murray "Why shouldn`t truth be stranger then fiction? You can get a lot of loading info. directly from the powder manuf. http://www.hodgdon.com/data/pistol/index.php http://www.accuratepowder.com/loaddata_caliber_handgun_standard_45cal.htm http://recipes.alliantpowder.com/rg.taf?_function=pistolrevolver&step=1 The older Hornady manuals also had data. For the automag, you can use loads for the .44mag, start w/ loads in the middle & work up. I would not shoot the 300gr in the automag, the pistol was designed for 240-265gr. You'll just excelerate wear. LIFE IS NOT A SPECTATOR'S SPORT!

if its any help my loads for 45 wm are 16 gr unique and a 185, 21.3 gr blue dot and a 185, or 17 gr bluedot and a 230. I like the lighter bullets cause they do blow up a crat nicely, but they are a bit difficult to get to function.
