jeffeossoi have to ask, what are you going to be shooting them in?
a semi or a bolt
a .308 barrel or a .311 ..
it MATTERS alot .. a ruger, either factory mini30 or m77mkII, is a 308 barrel. Load 120gr .308 bullets in them, and you will have an accurate shooter ...
those in an ak or sks, will spray and keyhole ...
use .311 for the ak/sks .. or .312 ..
remember, this is the base case for the PPC, and is VERY accurate when the proper bullets are used in a bolt gun.
i don't remember if the century arms are .308 or .311 ... might be a case by case basis.

KrochusI disagree on almost your entire assesment jeffeosso

Wrong in most cases, Ive researched this a great deal and apparently the very first run of Ruger Mini30's had .308 bores. Anything made after 1994 or so has the "proper" .310" barrel. Same goes for the m77

ANY bullet in a AK will "spray" in case you haven't noticed. I have tested this extensively as well and I have yet to find a .310 bored rifle that WON'T shoot .308" bullets with 100% of the accuracy of the other diameter
back to the OP
I have shot 170g 30-30 and 174grain .303 bullets in my AR15 with it's .310 bore. With a charge of H335 that I won't divulge 2000fps is not a problem. 150 grainers motorvate out around 2140fps

K. W.Excuse me, but Vihtavuori N-120; suitable for small capacity rifle cases like 7,62x39.
Burning rate is near to Accurate 1680, IMR 4198 and Reloader 7.

Yes, in most instances, but in the case of My Ruger Mini-30, N-120 will just barely cycle the action, to fast for my rifle. I prefer N-130, deady accurate and excellent velocities.

KrochusIn both my AR15 and my bench gun n120 has been THE powder for 7.62x39 outperforming even aa1680.
Unlike the above poster's mini my AR has no cycling issues with this powder

Hey Krochus, How many grains of 120 are you using behind 125gr bullets? Maybe I'm loading light.

Krochus http://www.lapua.com/fileadmin...ta/Rifle/7.62x39.jpgI've shot the 27.3grn load but I tend to throttle back a tad to increase brass life

Do you use what optics and as fasten it? Question - whether it holds well and constantly "0"?

I did not pay regard to Your picture and thought that you had shot from SKS, - on it put question about an optics and its fastening on SKS and accordingly as an optics holds "0".
