Anyone here had any experience using these dies? Any good? Are they currently in production? Can you get parts if needed? Thanks!

Paciific Dura-Chrome Dies
I have a 1970’s ventage Pacific Pistol Powder Measure.
Thirty [30] years ago, plus or minus Hornady bought Pacific Tool and Die Company.
For years, until about 1989, when Hornady came out with their NEW DOMENTION DIES, they sold Dura-Chrome dies.
The last conversation I had with Hornady was about their “older dies”. They said there were very few, if any, parts left. Because of my age and less than nimble fingers I bought another brand of .22 Hornet dies.
Contact Hornady and see if they have the parts you need, if not ask them if they will let you ship the dies back and exchange them for a set of New Domention dies.

Thanks guys,

I found a good deal on E-bay for 30-30. I have ben thinking about loading this caliber, so I went ahead with the purchase... they looked to be in pretty good condition.

I have been using a set of these for my 270 Win for the last 20 yrs. Never had a problem. I read somewhere that these dies size to factory specs, like small base dies. I believe this as resized cases mike to factory specs.
