Probably one of the least picky chamberings I have ever loaded for. Besides stevespages you can get loading info from Accurate Arms, Hodgdon, Nosler and possibly several others right off the net.

PS If a healthy dose of RL7 or AA1680 behind a 40 gr. vmax, properly loaded of course, doesn't shoot well in your gun.......your problem will not be in the ammo.

Go to the "small calibers" section, and do a 6 month or so search on the 221. You should see lots of comments.
The Fireball is often discussed on saubier.com forum (excellent small/sub caliber group).
I agree on AA1680 being a great choice, and LilGun is amazing in this cartridge. Good data on the Hodgdon site, and now several manuals list loads for the 221 in a rifle.
RL7, H322, 4198, and AA2200 also are good choices. I prefer the 40gr pills, as they just seem "right" for this case size.
Have fun!

I found the thread looking for loads in the caliber yesterday. And I did realize that the thread was long forgotten. Just thought that it would be nice to hear what was hiding on your faulty server.

Oh! So that's your server. I didn't see the connection. I guess I'm slow or somethin'.

Sorry for bringing an useless thread to life again.
