Anyone use either of these powers in there ar 223s .I ran out of 2230c went to sportmans and they wanted 200 for allient 2230 and the rl 12 or 15 is only 130 for 8 lbs its purely money now.

To my knowledge Varget and RL15 are the most used powders for 223/5.56.
I primarily use Varget, but many competitors use RL15.

I use RL-15 in both my bolt gun and AR. Works fine in either gun.

I have a very good load for 67 gr bullets and RL15 in my RRA Varminter but have load the sheet I had several loads on.
I have about 4 lbs of RL12 left which shoots fantastic in my Armalite AR10 with 155 gr AMax bullets.
As drm-hp mentioned Varget and RL15 are two of the best in AR's.
