Any body have a good accuracy load for the Ruger Mini-30 7.62x39? I know, I know, Mini-30 and accuracy is an oxy-moron. Just like to know if anyone closed in their groups a little with a particular powder. 125 and 135gr Sierra Pro hunters is what I have the most of. Sierra lists H 4227 as their accuracy load for the 125 and R-7 for the 135. Both were tested in a Mini-30. My first try was AA1680 and all my loads are worse than factory ammo. Any other powders to try?

I don't know if there is a magic reload formula, but Lapua ammunition is excellent in my SKS. I think the bullet is .309", which is a reasonable compromise. Be glad to check if it will help you.
