Has anyone price brass lately? I'm getting ready for a Zimbabwe buffalo hunt this summer and have been shooting my .416 quite a bit. As usual I take new unfired brass, loaded with my developed load on hunts. The cheapest I could find was $2.25 per round! Jeeze, I bought 200 rounds about two years ago for $180. I think I just might have to bite the bullet and buy a bunch, then quit worrying about the increase in price. No wonder those PH's are so happy when we leave our extra ammo behind.

I think Midway lists the Hornady stuff for about $1.50 per.
