I am getting hold of my new Sauer 202, in 8x68S, today and intend to use it on a plain game hunt in Namibia, next year. Everything is in place to start developing loads for it: Vihtavuori and Vectan powders, Speer and Barnes-TSX 200 grains bullets and new RWS brass. The components aren’t ease to come by (specially the Barnes bullets) so I have to use as less as possible throughout the load developing process. Any one out there with some tried loading data for this calibre, using those powders and bullets, and that wouldn’t mind sharing? That would be appreciated (and save me some bullets)! Thanks B.Martins What every gun needs, apart from calibre, is a good shot and hunter behind it. - José Pardal

Will be hapy to share. My loading experience centers around the Hornady 220 SP and the Swift 220 A-Frame. I tried IMR 4350 and H4831, Win Mag primers and RWS brass. Rifle is custom Ruger No. 1. Hunting experience limited to one Nilgai shot at approx. 60 yards, neck shot, dropped like a sack a taters.Reamer for chambering was made by Pacific Tool and Die to "match" (minimum SAAMI) specifications. Will send more particulars soon.
