What has worked for you in the Herrett or Max?

I'll be using both 10" and 14" Max barrel.

LouisB, The 2 powders that I use most in the .357 Herrett are H4227 and AA1680. They both work pretty well.

With all due respect, why shoot 150 gr bullets in a 35 caliber gun? Thats what 30 cal guns are for. Low BC and sectional density is what you get.

I use'em for 100 m shooting at paper. Low recoil, and cheaper than bigger bullets.

Don't need any more BC or SD for target work at this distance!

I'd never use them on any critters though if that is what you have in mind.

I didn't get a chance to try any in my max, but I'd expect H-110/W-296 to be about perfect. AA1680 will be too slow for that weight bullet. Lil gun might also hold promise.
