I'm wondering if anyone has tried this powder in an AR-15 platform with heavy bullets. Are the loads compressed? I can't find much for load data with this powder. I recently picked up a Rock River AR-15 and began handloading for it. Right now I'm using Varget with very good results. My only concern is that with 68 gr bullets, the loads are so compressed that the ogive is getting distorted. I have not tried this load past 100 yds yet but I'm assuming that by 300 yds this could come into play. Right now I'm getting 1" 10-shot groups at 100 so I definitely can't complain. I'm just curious about this powder because it looks like it was made for AR's. Thanks in advance.

I shot TAC in a 6mmPPC, for about 2 years, in IBS Varmint Hunter class. It shot great and was the cleanest ball powder I've ever used. It was also the most temp and humidity sensitive powder I've ever used. It also varied greatly from lot to lot.

Ive used TAC in my RRAs coyote upper. Shooting Sierra 65gr Game King. It works very well. How does it profit a man if he gains the whole world but looses his soul
