Am looking for load data, results and pertinent info from those loading and using the 6.5Jap, Carcano or X54. : beer roger

Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! Some never pay and some pay and never reap the reward. Wisdom comes with age! Sometimes age comes alone..

I load for the 6.5x54 M/S using the regulated 160 G. RN (just discontinued by Hornady). If you can find any buy them up!I don't recall my powder data, that's in the loading room.
Use the current Hornady manual or look up factory duplication loads in "Cartridges of the World" 2nd ed.

I did and than found out you still can order them. I believe I know where some are on the shelf that recently came in. They were not cheap from the source from which I bought them. I think I paid $33.00/C. If you're interested let me know and I'll check it out and pick it up for you. beerroger

Bart ,
What is the 6.5 data request about? I though I was the only one goofy enough to try all the military 6.5s - all except a couple that you know are hard to find.

shockerI found two boxes at the range reloading store that my buddy recently received. Sadly the asking price is $37+ change. They are .264" diameter not to be confused with the Carcano bullets at .268" diameter . I would call Hornady you may be pleasantly surprised. beerroger

Roger, I sent you a PM with some load data.

H4831sc shoot well in my Sweed. I'd had good result behind both the 140 gr Remington PSP, and the 130gr Nosler ABs.
