Am I the only one who wishes one of the major ammo companies would come out with a case similar to the Dakota but with a 0.532" rim. Basically like the 300 RUM but 2.5" long case. I would like a 300 Dakota but the brass is too expensive so I use the 300 Win Mag. Rufous.

How about a 30-350 RM?

Rufous - I think you want something similar to this in .30 caliber and a tad longer.
