Not true, you can shoot plain bullets after shooting moly coated bullets. Some people claim that your gun will not be as accurate with plain bullets after moly and if you find this the case you can remove the moly in the bore by cleaning down to bare metal with JB or Rem clean. Start off slow with the pressure thing as it takes up to 50 rounds through the barrel to get the barrel coated and you start seeing a pressure reduction.I shoot nothing but moly but do it mostly for ease of cleaning as jacket fowling drops to nil.::::::M V

I think the main benefits of Moly are reduced throat wear, and ease of cleaning. Many competitive shooters find they can fire many, many more rounds between cleanings, and the bores clean much easier. Throat wear is also greatly reduced, which means much longer life for that expensive barrel.
Don't be suprised to see accuracy suffer at first. Your velocities will be lower, and you'll have to rework your loads to find the "sweet spot" again. After 50 to 100 rounds, you'll notice a gray color the length of the barrel, which indicates the barrel is completely coated with Moly. You can clean it out, or shoot it out if you don't like it.
I've been shooting moly in 2 of my rifles for a little while. The main thing I notice is faster cleaning. I run 4 or 5 wet patches (Shooter's Choice & Kroil) thru the barrel, and 3 or 4 dry patches. The solvent is just removing carbon & ash from the powder.
Regards, George.

The other post have set it straight...I use pressure coated bullets/NECO?process and they do well...a friend has tried the Ms. Molly spray and the coating will wipe off and isn't nearly as durable or effective as my impact coated/factory molly rounds....if the spray type instructions don't mention it BE SURE to wash the bullets, before coating, with hot soapy dish cleaner fluid and rinse them clean and get the factory grease off of them....it makes impact or sprayed molly work much better, make sure they are good and dry and they work better warm...not hot..when sprayed.....they have some new Molly cleaner fluid made to disolve/remove molly from the guns and metal that I'm going to try.....good luck and good shooting!!!
