Has anyone loaded them? How was the accuracy and do they require any tweaking as far as seating depth goes or similar?

Hi Blair. I've been loading the 143gr ELD-X in my 6.5mm SAUM. I'm just tweaking loads currently but they are shooting constant 0.7 MOA (3 shot groups). I am seating 35 thousandths off the lands. She was only the Fish Mongers daughter. But she lay on the slab and said 'fillet'

A couple friends have been using the same bullet. One with a 6.5-284 and one with a 6.5 WSM. Both guys say they shoot really well and my WSM friend says they are the most accurate things he's ever tried in his rifle. These guys are shooters too and hardly get excited unless it's shooting in the 3's or less. Zeke

6.5mm 143gr Hornady ELD-X This shows just how accurate these Hornady 143gr ELD-X bullets can be made to shoot. This is with 62.5 grs of Retumbo, bullet sitting 0.20 off lands. Group size 0.462 MOA. I came to the conclusion that H1000 just wouldn't give me quite this accuracy, best was 0.7 MOA. Still a consistent load but my goal was to get half MOA, and I'm pleased I persevered. I've not had the opportunity to chrony this load yet. 62.5 grs H1000 gave me 3072fps from my 24 inch Criterion barrel and I understand that Retumbo might give me a bit more velocity.
