seeing all of the posts by Seafire about blue dot has me wondering. What kind of accuracy have you seen with blue dot in the .223 compared to "standard" loads?

thanks for postin all the work as well!

my 14" .223 contender shoots it great! i load 13.5gr with 40gr nosler bt's. it'll average about an 1" at 100 for 5 shots. around 3000fps or just over out of the 14" barrel.

i'd like to hear seafire's info on the .223/blue dot. got any?

Kyode:

Drop me an email and let me know what you want to know.
Happy to share.

IN my bolt action rifles, my groups average much better than 1 inch at 100 yds. I stayed with Blue Dot after I tried it basically for a batch of reasons, not excluding its consistency in velocity and its accuracy.

My groups have been very very tight with it. But I think it is more important to hear that from other people instead of just me.

Cheers and Good shooting with it
