Help Guys!

I need to reload 20 rds of 22 Hornet before Saturday and I'm not sure about setting up the bullet seating die. I'm using Hornady dies.
For 223Rem and 243Win I can adjust the die until it's just above the shoulder. What is best for such a long necked case?

St, you want the case up as far as possible in the die. i adjust the body of the die all the way to the shell holder if I can.you may need to back off the seater die if it has a built in crimp then adjust the the seater plug to the length.

Thanks Dave, I think the Hornady die DOES have the ability to crimp; I'll dig out the manual that comes with the dies and if so, back off the die body as you suggest. For that part of the set up I'll probably remove the seater stem.

Thanks once again for your advice.
