I'm thinking about getting a CZ527 Varmint in .223 I have an 8lb jug of ACC2200. Is anyone using this powder and if so how does it shoot? I have not used it but it looks like it produces good velocity. Only one way to find out! | |||

Works very well in both 223 and 222. A friend an I use it in both calibers. You're lucky to have 8lbs, it hasn't been available for quite some time now. Bought 16lbs and I'm workin' on the second jug. | |||

Craigster, thanks for the help. Are you useing it in an AR or bolt gun? A buddy got a deal on it a few years ago and i got one from him. Havn't opened it yet. I bought three kegs of Accurate Data Powder 2200 some years ago and have burned two of them in .223 ammo fired in ARs. Wish to heck I'd bought more!!! We both use it in bolt guns and my buddy uses it in his AR. It's Czech surplus powder so it ought to work great in a CZ. | |||
