I am a newbie to reloading just getting started, I bought a tikka T3 lite in 7mm-08 and am wanting to get into rolling my own. I have been looking at the suppliers catalogs and I can't find any brass in 7mm-08. Am I going to have to buy the ammunition first and save my own brass?

You can get it online at midsouth, cabellas etc. Or you could just form it from 308 brass..

M_Walker Just as Wstrnhuntr says mate, get yourself a batch of good .308 brass and don't look back l roll my stuff from Lapua, once through the FL die and it's good to go. l dropped on really easy with my loads using Quickload data, and haven't looked back since. Regards. D. ....

Yes mate, you should be ok as you're only pushing the neck down another .62"ish and re-setting the shoulder slightly. l use imperial sizing wax on my cases and love the stuff lightly on the outside and just a smear with a cotton bud inside the neck to ease the expander ball. D. ....

You'll be fine sizing 308 but if you want proper headstamped brass, it's available everywhere on line. http://www.grafs.com/metallic/731 http://www.midwayusa.com/browse/BrowseProducts.aspx?pag...*652***670***9013*** http://www.powdervalleyinc.com/ http://www.huntingtons.com/cases_norma.html You could also neck 260rem brass up, but 308 would be far more available. Try Blue Star Brass. He has a good selection of "once-fired" rifle brass. IF YOU'RE GONNA GET OLD,YOU BETTER BE TOUGH!! GETTIN' OLD AIN'T FOR SISSIES!!
