My mother wants to get me a magazine subscription for Christmas. In your opinion, what is the reloading magazine worth reading?

I don’t know anything about "reloading magazine", I’m going to have to make a trip to Gander Mountain’s magazine rack and check it out. I subscribe to Handloader turned out by Wolfe Publishing. I like Handloader, I’ve been getting it for years.

The answer depends too much on personal experiences and preferences. Main interests? Rifle, handgun, shotgun? Hunting, target shooting, competitive shooting etc.? MickinColo has the right idea. Do some research. The internet is a great place to start. Fire up your search engine of choice and have some fun. muck

A "must have" in my book is Ken Waters "Pet Loads" published by Wolfe. Lyman's Reloading Handbook is right up there too, and this is a reloading book that has "harping on the ideal" built in. All NRA material is first rate, and anything else would be icing on the cake.

I have been subscribing to Handloader Magazine for nearly 40 years. It is pretty good sometimes. Over the years my interests have grown and changed and I have gotten a lot of mileage out of the old issues because I can read them for subject matter that I didn't pay attention to before.

Handloader is OK. I would go with Precision Shooting. Lots of good info. I would opt for a book or two for the same price on the subject. Sincliar International and Brownell's has a hugh selection.

I get Handloader Magazine and I like it... there are lots of generic tips which are helpful. Info about powder and components… It will not replace your manuals but I find it a helpful addition
