Okay, I guess everybody is out of Federal 215 primers, and will be for awhile. I used these exclusively in 500 A-Square, 416 Remington Mag, and 338 Lapua; now what? Anyone out there doing well with anything else?

just pick any LR magnum primer and give them a try...I've used Remington with no complaints. But you really have to venture off on your own to see what you like

I lucked out today, the local gunshop had Fed 215's on the shelf, you know what they say about looking a gift horse in the mouth, so I picked up 1K.

Just hadda buy a thousand Winchester LR magnum primers at the show. No 215's available. The CCI's come out oversize quite often and jam my Dillon's primer feed. I load them individually and have had good luck with them, but not running the press progressivly.

I think I'm loading for 45 different chamberings and I've pretty much gone exclusively to federal match grade primers over the years. Consequently most of the loads I have developed use these primers. Got lucky though and picked up 3,000 or so around the middle of last year. On the other hand, I have had good luck with WLRM primers in the few loads with which I have used them in.

check cabellas searching for primers. I bought some there today. Yhing about cabellas online site is that you have to actually search for the word PRIMERS or maybe HODGDEN to get to the reloading supplies. Oftne users overlook this site for reloading supplies because of this requirement.

be safe and shoot em up
