I am not sure where this post belongs so here go's I have owned 5 tikka's in 3006 and 300 Short mag the 06 was a tack driver like a fool i traded it off for the 300 and then problems began first with blueing first time out rusting i sent it back the company sent a new one the finish on the stock pealed of when the stock got a little wet sent it back they sent another one the safety wouldn't stay on safe sent it back now i have a stainless with a lam stock real pretty but to get it to shoot under an 1.5 inch at 100 yrds is seems almost impossible. I have been hand loading for 30 plus years and never had any trouble with accuracy before. I was wondering if there is any one that is real proud of their tikka 300 short mag are you loading all factory shells or what ??

That's real unfortunate that you have had bad experiences with your Tikka. I reload and my T3 Lite stainless 300wsm likes almost every load I've developed from 150-180 grain bullets. I seldom get groups larger than 1 1/4" from the bench. The only problem I have had with mine was from a blown primer which broke the bolt shroud at the back of the bolt. I just got ahold of Beretta and they sent me a new one free of charge. I will say that the gun has some plastic parts where they should probably be metal such as the clip, bolt shroud and trigger guard. Otherwise, Im very impressed with the rifles abilities for horsepower and accuracy.
