I am looking to pick up some IMI brass for the 06 and the 223. You guys have any thoughts as to who may be carrying some? Thx Mark D

Mark, I'm also looking for IMI .223 brass, thus far with little success. Sinclair lists some IMI brass, but also notes it is out of stock. I have the feeling IMI brass arrives in batches - if at all... - mike ********************* The rifle is a noble weapon... Try Wideners, they normally carry a good bit of IMI stuff. The IMI 45 ACP brass is the best I've used, lasts seemingly forever. wideners John

Good link John, thanks for that. Widener's sadly only has 7.62x39 IMI rifle brass listed at present. - mike ********************* The rifle is a noble weapon... It entices its bearer into primeval forests, into mountains and deserts untenanted by man. - Horace Kephart

I gave them a call, they're not far from here, guy said no 223 or '06 right now and no firm delivery date. Even though they're a good sized IMI vendor, seems the US military is an even better IMI customer..... John

IMI - Israel Military Industries - a lot of Winchester .223 brass is made by IMI. Midway has sold the IMI in .223. Does anyone stock a full line of the IMI brass???? RELOAD - ITS FUN!

The US Military is using 1.4 billion small arms cases a year. US production is only about 1.1 billion. We have spoken for most of the IMI output in 5.56/.223 for a while. It is tough stuff, but I like the Winchester more. LD

I do believe MidwayUSA is running a special on Military .223. I saw it in their December Flyer. midwayusa "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then is not an act, but a habit"--Aristotle (384BC-322BC)

I bought 200 IMI empty 44mag cases and most of them split on the first firing. This was a long time ago, but the gunsmith told me that he did not have good luck with the IMI brass. What I don't understand if he knew they were not good at the time why did he sell them? I havent bought any IMI since then maybe they are better now.
