IN THE PROCESS OF SPRING CLEANING THE OLD RELOAD ROOM, I CAME ACROSS A COUPLE OF POUNDS OF RL 19 THAT I ACQUIRED A WHILE BACK. NOT FINDING ANYTHING THAT LIKED THIS POWDER IT JUST SITS THERE GATHERING DUST. I WAS WANTING TO MABE USE THIS POWDER TO FIREFORM MY 22.250 IMP CASINGS, BUT CANNOT FIND ANY DATA FOR THE 22.250 WITH THIS POWDER IN ORDER TO LOAD SOME SAFE ROUNDS UP. I WILL BE USING 50 GRAIN BULLETS IN THIS LOAD. MIND YOU, I AM NOT LOOKING FOR ANY KIND OF ACCURATE LOAD, JUST SOMETHING SAFE TO USE TO FIREFORM MY CASINGS. ANY INPUT WILL BE APPRECIATED.

Texas,

Here is data for the 220 Swift which is similar to your improved round.

http://recipes.alliantpowder.com/rg.taf?_function=centerfire&step=2&bulletID=151&cartridgeID=1045&caliber=%2E220&cartridgedescr=Swift&bulletdescr=Hornady%2060%20Sp%2E%20Pt%2E

It seems that R19 might be fine with a heavier bullet.

If you back up on Alliants site you will find that they used R19 with the 60 gr bullets and the 22-250 also.
