Weatherby has issued a recall on the bolt sleeve on Vanguards manufactured between 1970 & 1993. The rifles affected by the the recall have serial numbers.

My fiance' has one of these rifles. I contacted Weatherby through their website and they mailed me a bolt return kit. I received the kit approximately three days later. I sent the bolt away and had it back in less than one week.
