7mmanFINDING LOADS
Hey
I was wondering if when youall are grouping a new load that if there is more then one sweet load. That if you find a load that works like say 70gr of h4831 gives you a 5. inch at if you go up or down a few grams if it will come together again. This goes for all calibers.

ClarkIf the barrel is short and fat, the group size does not change much with powder charge.
If the barrel is a long whip, the charge needs to be tuned so that the bullet comes out when the barrel muzzle is moving the slowest in it's sinusoid of motion.
Or you can put one of the accu adjuster things on the muzzle and tune the barrel to the load.

7mmanI do not think that a worded the question right .I meant that if you found a grate load like 70gr of imr that gave you one point of entrance that the same powder would give a equal grouping at a larger or less powder charge?
