Just used my new Forster Co-Ax press to load some .458 Socom, but found it a bit fiddly getting the loaded rounds out of the shellholder. No big deal, but I was wondering if there is a trick.
I think I am going to love this press!

you have the wrong jaws - there are 2 different sets one is for the larger rounds on 1 side and smaller than normal on the other

In any case, your opening cam is adjusted wrong; make the cam go upward, and it will open the jaws, even if you are using the wrong ones, which I can't believe you are.
I have an original Bonanza Co-Ax.

There is a pointed rod that screws into the bottom of the press. It can be raised or lowered by screwing it up or down.

And that pointed rod is called the opening cam; the jaws can't get stuck if it is adjusted right.

Do not extend the pointed rod too far as you will bend the metal plate holding the jaws/springs in place. If it cracks/brakes it is expensive to replace.
There are several sizes of jaws for sale from very small ( .25 ACP , to very large .50-110 )

I had the same problem— UNTIL I learned to lift the case straight up.

It was really hard to break the decades old practice ou pushing forward to insert and pullong back to remove the case.

I have also found that it is sometimes helpful to keep the shellholder plate mounting screws very slightly loose; the jaws can bind a bit otherwise.
