I want to try some bullets in my ,.333 ,okh belted rifle before I go head into buying all the stuff to reduce .338 bullets to .333 .I have the bullets would send bullets both ways and pay some to boot .I just didn't want to be disappointed in going head in.and they not working .I have some .338 Speer 275 grain bullets and some .338 250 ,grain partition bullets .This is my Elmer Keith 1917 Enfield built by Charlie penal it's a super strong rifle .I just don't want to do it wrong I have never done !

There have been several threads on this topic I have done 430 to 416 in one pass I would do in two step if I would to it again.

338 to 333 should be straight forward

Others have done similar with different calibers.

I used lee push through sizing dies

A .333 swagger? is that something like the concept of Cam turning coal into diamonds? Smiler

I suppose you know that Woodleigh makes .333 bullets, or did in 2014.

Lee push through dies will work for cup and core bullets but I'll be surprised if you could get a Partition pushed through one.

CH4D makes a bullet sizing die for around $90 but I don't know how they'll work with Partitions.

Both Hawk and Woodleigh offer 250 and 300 grain .333 bullets.

"...I advise the gun. While this gives a moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprize, and independance to the mind. Games played with the ball and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be the constant companion of your walks." It's the H press I don't have .I.have 2000 250 grain nosler partitions already in 338 and a bunch of 275 grain Speer bullets .I talked to Corbin and they said partitions will work.but accubonds won't work .I.like partitions best .I.just didn't want to invest a bunch of money in the press and the bullets I made shoot all over the place .I.guess I will try what bullets I have just seeing.if anyone had this caliber swagger to try it before I.but it !

Years ago Ross Seyfried did and article of centerless grinding where he reduced the diameter of jacketed bullets to fit an uncommon groove size.

My CorBon swager will do the job, but I don't have the correctly sized swager. Call CorBon, and ask for a reference.

The .333 bullets I found are mostly round nose .I want to use better bullets in this rifle it has a 25 inch barrel that's like new .Corbin said you could swage partitions .I have never done it just need help on it .If I do a 1000 bullets that should be life time supply .I bought 200 of Elmer Keith's favorite bullets the 275 grain 338 bullets I.Have one pack of those in .333 .I think the 250 grain nosler partitions would be awesome in this gun .I just want to make sure they will shoot good before I have to invest a bunch in them .Corbin said bonded bullets like accubonds will not work.My supply of bullets for this gun are from 1940s original 300 grain Barnes .333 bullets made for Elmer Keith and some 200 grain .333 bullets that some one had made .I just want the best bullets for this gun that will work awesome and have good down range ballistics .I finally got 200 cases made up myself just need awesome bullets to shoot in this historic rifle !
