Anyone know where I can find data on min and max powder loads for 22-250 using R10x. I tried the web site and it only gives a best recipe. I did email them but no response yet. Just thought someone might know where else to look.

I use Reloader 10x in my 22-250. I have tried it with several bullets. My primary load is as follows:

52gr Sierra Match King
32.5 Reloader 10x
Winchester Brass
Federal 210M Primer
2.40 OAL

32.5 was pushing these 52gr at 3750-3800 FPS IIRC from a 26" barrel. Another forum member on these boards who I shoot with regularly keeps the velocities recorded better than I do.

Reloader 10x is a GREAT powder. It's the only thing I could find that shot well in my 22-250. I had tried everything under the sun. EVERYTHING, and RL10x was the missing peice of the puzzle. Every bullet shoots better with it.

I have heard great things about it with other calibers too. People are using it in .204's and 223's with great sucess. The only downside is there is no data for it. So use my 52gr w/ 32.5 as a guide, knock 10% off and start from there.

I contacted Alliant about load data for 10X. I was told that I could use H322 Load Data. Of course "Start Low and Work up"
By the way, If you would like to contact Alliant forget about email, they will not reply!

It works great if you shoot it hot and during the warmer part of the year. It is real dirty otherwise.

I love it when they come up with a new powder but neglect to tell you where to start. Thanks for info.

Are you having any sort of pressure signs with the 32 grains.

I like RL 10 so far and am using it in the 308 with 150's and the 358 with 180's. It's a tiny bit faster than 3031.

I tried it in the 219 Improved with 40's and 3031 shot a little better on that one test.

I have played with the first pound I got of it, in the 223, and the 22.250....

It really did an excellent job....

I am a RL 7 user, so I am worried it will be the replacement for RL 7....

I used RL 7 load data, and then worked up... Lyman Manual # 47 is a good source for that info on RL 7.....

A tad faster than 3031, would also allow you to reference Benchmark load data, but I'd work up definitely.....

it is a real keeper as powders go tho,, I just hope it doesn't "replace" RL 7 is all!

Could Re10X be a good replacement for the gone Re12??? I know, maybe a bit faster, but could it be reasonable to use, especially in the 458 Win Mag?

Nope, no pressures signs at 32. I have pushed it up to 33 without pressure signs either, but I figure with it moving at 3750-3800 I am getting what I want with GREAT accuracy so why push it farther.

Alliant finally emailed me back and indicated a starting load of 29 grains with a max at 33 grains for a 50 grain bullet.
