6.5X300 WIN MAG
does anyone have any loading information on this cartridge? i've drawn blanks on my searches. thanks for any help.

Sorry, never heard of it. The capacity shouldn't be too much bigger than the .264 Win Mag, so that would be a good start. Relative to the bore cross section, the case capacity is similar to the .257 Wea and a bit lower than the .30-378. For a given SD bullet, the powders among these cartidges will be similar. Hodgdon has data for those three just mentioned.

The 264 WM, 7MM RM, and 338 WM, are all three 2.040" to the shoulder, and 2.500" in max case length. The 300 Win mag is slightly bigger. From the Hornady Handbook of cartridge Reloading Volume 1: "The cartridge[300 win mag] is based on the 338 winchester with the shoulder moved forward by .156" and the case lengthened by .120"
