Just got load data from Nosler. Data is from Manual # 7. I must have been sleeping, I do not have # 7 and none of my dealers have them. Must be a pretty new publication. Got to get one ASAP. Tks to all

Well, what can I say, Im just a simple minded hick looking for a manual that has not been printed yet. The way I see it, if a bullet manufacturer makes bullets, new bullets they should have data listed on there web sight. Would you want an auto tec building your engine or transmission with no torque specs or better yet using just any kind of oil in your new engine just because it is oil. Like I said, Im just the moron on here and look up to the real men for guidance. Oh, and by the way, I know my spelling sucks!

Be interesting to see if it can match up to the Hornady .308 140 gr MonoFlex™ (for 30-30 Win). Rather doubt it will shoot as fast or as flat as the Hornady...... and it's not a monometal.

Pick a load using that bullet weight from 4 or 5 other manuals using 3031 or IMR4895 and forget that nasty BL-C2. The data will be safe there is even data at the Hodgdon site. Use of data from many books will give you a sense of confidence against typos that you can get with a single manual. Have a good day.

The folks @ nosler sent me an E-mail with a pdf with the load data from the new manual#7 that is to be out in December. IMR 4895 @ 28 Gr 2020 FPS, LD 84% is there most accurate load tested. I personaly would not shoot this bullet for my self but it looks like a good bullet and is suposed to preform like a true B-T. Time will tell, but like you I think the Hormady is a beter choice.

I can agree with that but for it to matter in reloading the successful person would need to have been reloading for YOUR rifle, otherwise his success won't make a lot of difference for you.

I gave them a try and was set back at how accurate these new Nosler bullets are. Also the tips do not deform in the tube like the Hornady does. After leaving them in the rifle overnight they still kept there true form, not like the way the Hornadys get all mashed down and deformed.
