Tried my williams receiver sight with the williams fire sight on my 444. I currently have the receiver sight all the way up and the poi is dead on at 35 yards. I do not know and did not have time today to check poi at 100 yards. Does anyone have any idea? Load is factory 265 Hornady. Thanks.

sounds like this doesn't quite qualify for the reloading section, but rather gunsmithing or whatever. As far as i know, williams sights have nothing to do w/ reloading...maybe i'm wrong

Roger, I shoot a 444, and I use a 4 power scope on mine...

But if I took off the scope, I'd be tempted to just put on a plain old red dot, over a receiver site....

just my 2 cents..

Some of these low power "turkey scopes" work pretty darn good on a lever action like the 444 also....
