I like the only one i own. Have the Lyman trimmer, so bought there outside neck turning attachment. Its cost effective and works. Used for 243 win. & just lately 223 rem. Most will buy a K&M from posts i read. http://abfirearms.com/

I have a K&M, a Forster, one made by the benchrest legend Ferris Pindell and two Marquart types made in a shop where I once worked. I have also turned cases with an engine lathe. I really don't like to use any of them. The only time I use one is when there is a problem with the brass or for a tight neck benchrest rifle. Of the tools that I own the case holders and pilots that came with the Pindell tool make it much easier to use for my applications. Availability of pilots and general ease of use would make the Forster #2. For the anal types the K&M would probably be the first choice. If I had several speciality tight neck rifles I would have a simple Marquart type turner and pilot set just for that rifle.

The Sinclair NT 1000 is also an excellent choice and mine has done sterling work. Von Gruff.

I've got a Sinclair NT-1000 and a K&M. I just like the K&M over the NT-1000. Both will definitely get the job done.

A few years ago I revised my neck turning set-up, using K&M equipment. No more battery charging!! I like carbide neck turning mandrels. Also, I've found that neck turning attachments, such as for the Forster case trimmer, do NOT work accurately. Friend Of The 17 Kevin
