Nosler #5 does not list any loads for H4831 of any type.

Hodgdon #27 lists loads for the 117 grain Hornaday.

Starting 48 grains 2748 FPS
Max 52 Grains 2937 FPS

DJM, Nosler #4 shows IMR 4831 for the 117 grain 48 grains to 52.0 grains. Have had much better luck with the 100 grain which will out preform the 115 grainer. You can use about any 4831 powder with some care, the burn rates are close as with different lot numbers of the same kind of powder you should always back of a little to see how they work. Good Luck

Sierra edition 5 lists this for their 117 and 120gr bullets:

Min 43.6gr @ 2700fps
Max 52.0gr @ 3100fps

Good shooting,

Not Nosler, but better...

H-4831 From 48.0 grains to 52.0 grains
Winchester WLR Primer

But you might be happier with:
RL-22 From 48.5 grains to 52.5 grains
Winchester WLR Primer

DJM,

From what is printed here my load is very hot, so approach with caution. 53.4 gr H4831SC under a 115 gr BST.

Dave

I'll get my manuals and see what else I can find.

Lyman #27 lists max of 54 gr for a 117 gr bullet.
Hornady #5 lists max of 54.7 gr for 117 gr bullets.
