brainshotIf you do not lube, you will need much more force on your lever and perhaps will form the case in a way you will not want to. Inside lubing of the neck is critical and should be done with a good lube like Lees lube. It is water solvent and wil not chemically affect your charge.

rejpellyWelcome both of you, fine having members from all over the world.I use a metal polish to clean the inside of the neck case,if you lube inside the case neck,a good thing to do,(tension gip)the expander ball will get "fouling"etc..,clean it with with a piece of cloth etc...

Savage99spudgun,
Welcome to the forum. How have you buggered one up? What happens now when you size a lubricated case?
One needs to lubricate the the outside of each case neck and the inside if the expanding button is used. The idea of the "S" type dies is to not use the button however unless necessary. You should find a decapping pin holder in the box that does not use an expanding button.
If the die now scratches the outside of the necks I will advise how to polish it.
