A Friend of mine just bought some 60 grains partions and some 75 grains Hornady match bullet for his .220 swift.
Now he wants me to find some loads for him!!!!!!!!

Can some of you help my on this one?

By the way how does the partion perform on game - to my mind it most be nearly perfect for roe deer hunting with the .224's?

Sincerely

Mads

I loaded the 60 gr Nosler 0.5 mm off the lands in the buddy's Husqvarna with 39.5 gr Norma 204 in Norma cases, using Fed 210's to get things started. First load tried and extremely accurate - load development ended right then and there. No chrono readings though (f-ing Chrony piece of sh!t...)

Hey Mads, I shoot a 224/284 and the Hornady 75's vaporize at 3700-3800 for sure. I'm trying elsewhere. If they do this in the air--just think what they'll do when they hit shoulder, even at lower vel.s

djd do I understand this right - you have a rifle chambered for 22-284?

This must be the most crazy (of course in a good way) wildcat!
How fast is a 50 grains bullet?
What do you use that rifle for?

I've been reading Layne Simpsons articles about the 6-284 with great interest and thought that that was one crazy wildcat but now this.

When will it ever stop 17-284?

Sincerely

Mads
