Hello

I'm working with Sierra 160gr Spitzer BTs and Privi brass. Fireformed, the brass holds 64grs of water filled to the top.
I'm curious what Quickload might have to say about pressures.
In particular, I'm curious about two newer powders,
HUNTER
4000-MR

Thanks much

Here's what QL predicts with Hunter.
I've adjusted to case capacity for 64gr.
Quickload recommends a max pressure of 51k PSI.
You will have to decide what is right for your rifle.

Cartridge : 7 x 57 mm Ack. Imp.
Bullet : .284, 160, Sierra SPBT 1920
Useable Case Capaci: 57.552 grain H2O = 3.737 cm³
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 3.071 inch = 78.00 mm
Barrel Length : 24.0 inch = 609.6 mm
Powder : Ramshot Hunter

Predicted data by increasing and decreasing the given charge,
incremented in steps of 0.971% of nominal charge.
CAUTION: Figures exceed maximum and minimum recommended loads !

Thanks so much Cool

I did a ladder last weekend with 51.0grs the last interval. 50.0grs was the most accurate group, with 50.5 in second. 51.0 the group was not good.

So this is pretty much right on the money..
Very nice..

QL assumes 70 degrees, so at 45-50 degrees, you are about where I would expect. Thanks for the update, it's always nice to see how accurate the QL predictions actually are.

1 1/8" at 200 yards is a good group. I'd say you are on your way to a real shooter.
