Uper-

I own three classics, but they were all gifts. I am not sure what they would go for.

I have noticed that they seem to vary considerably in price by caliber. I'd check GunsAmerica.com and run a search. You might be able to find one in order to check value.

Just a thought. Hope it helps - Gib

We just got a 257 Roberts classic with a Leupold 3x9 and Redfield rings and bases. We're selling the combo for $599.

I ran a search on GunsAmerica, and there was one 25-06 Classic for sale. It was NIB for $695. The classics ran from low 500s to just over $1000. IMHO, I'd pay around $550-650 for one.

One of my classics is a .257 Roberts. If you've never owned a .25cal, I think you'll like 'em.

Good luck- Gib

Thanks Gib-I tried some sites but didnt have that one. My experience is that guns go high at auctions but you never know. This one is heavy to Weatherbys(5)so probably a lot of heavy hitters at this one.Never hurts to try though..25 caliber could be considered a large gap in my arsenal-at least thats what I tell my comptroller.

9.3,
We don't have a digital camera at the shop. The rifle is very clean. Not many marks on the stock and the bore is sharp. I don't expect the gun to stay for long. The shop is Trop Gun Shop, Elizabethtown, Pa. Phone is 717-367-5585 if you want more info.
