Hi,

I need a supply of 25-06 brass.
Now i read somewhere that both the 25-06 and the 270 are based on the 30-06 case, so can i make 25-06 brass cases from my unfired 270 brass cases?

If so, is it a case of simply using loads of lube and using 25-06 dies or is there some other steps i must follow?

Thanks for any advice offered.

Use a good quality lube like Imperial Die wax and one pass through a .25-06 die should do it for you.....but make sure you trim the length as the .270 is a bit too long.....trimming will BE REQUIRED....not difficult but necessary!
