It there any structural or capacity difference between a case marked 38 Special and a case marked 38 Special+P ?

If you have some of the older cases they may have more volume. You can weigh them if in doubt.

Zeke, I havent found any difference between 38 spl and 38 plus P, but I have found a great difference in brands. I bought a quantity of GI brass, and the brass was so thick I had to change my loading. My max loads for commercial brass was too hot in GI brass. Just my thoughts. Good luck and good shooting.
