I have been using some plastic MTM plastic boxes for my sako 6ppc. the empties spill all over every time the box tips... PIA. Is there a proper sized box that will hold these Sako 6PPC rounds, and empties? Not looking for the two piece 20 rounders. Appreciate any experience.

These are the only ones I`m aware of for the PPC cartridges. http://www.sinclairintl.com/cg...=RS-S-50X&type=store ------------------------------------ The trouble with the Internet is that it's replacing masturbation as a leisure activity. ~Patrick Murray "Why shouldn`t truth be stranger then fiction? Have some of these already, or at least some that look the same, with the RS-S-50 name on the bottom.... Those the ones the empties fall around in. After some study, I think I can glue in a spacer of light foam on the inside lid, and make them work. thanks for the assist.

Sinclair international has a 25 round hinged lid custom made box for the PPC cartridges. I can't get the direct link to work. but go to http://www.sinclairintl.com Click on the online catalog. Put into the search box 08-4350 and that will bring up the ammo box. A bit pricey but very well made. I have two for my 6mm BR. muck

I went I saw I gagged. You are right on the number, and pricey indeed!! indeed. for BR just the ticket. For varminting with 250 shells a day.... that would be over $500>!! I will get one for the range. Jameister

Thanks all!! I found 8 cheapies from ebay: bid up to 3 dollars apiece. adn will know soon enough. and I bought one of the designer, trophy, fancy rig cause I love that stuff.. but from Sinclair, it ended up costing over $300!!! cause since I was there, and they have the 65 grain Berger bullets, and the 220 russion Lapua brass,, and the 222 brass I needed.... back to selling other stuff to pay for this!

How about the ones for the WSSM cartridges? The dimensions are fairly close, aren't they? US Army 1977-1998

You've got it. I put pieces of 1/2in thick foam plastic inside the lids of mine, and the problem was solved.

Phil N The head diameter of the WSSM case is .532" The head diameter of the 6mm PPC case is .445" Not close at all. Both are short and fat. But the WSSM is very fat. muck

MTM actually sells foam sheets for this purpose. I think the last ones I bought were from Midsouth. Hope this helps. Kevin

Good grief! You can buy a piece of 1/2 inch thick soft foam plastic from a drapery, haberdahery or hardware store for peanuts. This and a small roll of double-sided Sellotape will enable you to modify dozens of MTM boxes quite adequately.

Think I will get some scrap foam..maybe even designer-fufu-pure virgin fufu foam. Interesting project though to take some wood blocks and turn them into sawdust and cartridge boxes like the ones pictured. wannabee...
