Has anyone ever used or seen any of the Nammo Raufoss small arms ammo or components?? They appear to be associated with Lapua.

Their 50 cal bullets do a GREAT job on the bad guys. I would love to have 500 or so. No more rock chucks in my neighborhood.

afaik, Nammo Raufoss assembles the match ammo marketed under the Raufoss name in Norway. The ammunition is sold via the norwegian national rifle association. http://www.dfs.no/html/salg/ammo/65.htm http://www.dfs.no/html/salg/ammo/762.htm The cases have a RA headstamp but is supposedly made by Lapua. The bullets are from Sierra. They also sell powders for reloading: http://www.dfs.no/html/salg/ammo/krutt.htm these powders are made by Bofors.

Thanks beefeater2, I ran into the Raufoss name several years ago when talking to Sierra about a match bullet for the 8X57. They were making the 8MM Match King exclusively for Raufoss then. They explained that it was a Roufoss proprietary profile (design) and the business agreement was they could not sell it to anyone but Raufoss. I tried to buy seconds or large quantities but no dice. Now Sierra markets an 8mm Match King in the US. I noticed in your link they supply a lot more than just the 8MM to Raufoss.
