Loaded some 6mm Barnes TS and seated .05 from lans, looking for a little better accuracy. How much can accuracy be affected by moving bullet .03 or .07 as Barnes suggest?

The Lyman manual states that even 0.005" can make a sizable difference. I'd try that increment. Jaywalker

I have seated the same load from .01" to .07" off the lands more than once and as a result I have started seating them .03" in every case. The accuracy did not change much but the best seemed to usually happen at around .03". Each rifle is different and by all means try it yourself, but for me the accuracy seemed to deteriorate after .05".
