Please go to the Cast Bullet section of these forums and read the posts on .303 Savage. If enough folk contact Bob Graf at http://www.Grafs.com/ and express interest in getting new .303 Savage brass, we may be able to talk him into having some made for sale through Graf & Sons. Would put a lot of reloaders back into business building ammo for their old M'99s. AC

FWIW, 303 Savage brass is available from Buffalo Arms @ www.buffaloarms.com. Don't know if it's new or formed, might be worth asking them.

I have a 303 Sav that I have only shot with 30-30 brass, becuase I am too cheap to shoot the antique ammo that came with it. I have been watching for old 303 Sav brass, and if some shows up on Ebay, expect it to go for more than the $1.10/case that Buffalo wants for it. Now if we only knew the slope of the supply demand curve, maybe we could get tooled up for higher production.

Canuck, thanks for doing that. I would have to get a Savage in 303, to do that with. However to me, if you are going to have a timeless classic, why get it chambered for something like a 308 or 243. Chamber it in something that made it famous. Cheers and good shooting seafire

The nice thing about getting Bob Graf to have a run of .303 Savage brass made, if we can get him to do it, is that he doesn't charge an arm & a leg for it. If you look at his other "Graf" head-stamped custom brass runs, it rarely runs over $.35 or so per round. I don't know whether his custom brass is made by Olin (Winchester) or Hornady, but it is good stuff, too. AC
