TBEAR99 I spent a Christmas to New Years in Plattsburg with my former in-laws and wife. I was curious if rifles would actually fire in that cold? Or do you have to fire the rifle and wait til spring. When I visited my sister in Minn., during the winter, I was told that if you shouted at your neighbor across the street it would be spring before it defrosted enough for him to hear. Two places that aren't on F6Hawks list are : Huntingtons Quality Cartridge Huntingtons carries both the RWS and Norma lines and has those hard to find european calibers - RWS lists the 5.6x52R (22HP) and Norma lists their 308 Norma. Quality Cartridge are case formers and re-formers - they have correct headstamps if they can get blank cylindrical cases to headstamp & form; or have other caliber headstamps if they had to re-form the case for the new caliber. They list the 351WSL as having the correct headstamp. These cases aren't cheap, but then the aren't easy to find either. | |||
