20 gr 2400/ 250gr cast swc/ CCI 300

If ya switch to the WW (std/mag) primers from cci 300 std primers should ya reduce the powder charge to be equal the pressure with the cci load

All things being equal cept the primer, Bout how much grains ya think you'd reduce the powder charge ? .5 sound right?

I would rather start 1gr below and increase in increments of .3gr. Look for pressure signs. Standard primers in one brand could be hotter in another. Rather play it safe!

I use both CCI 300 std and WW primers in my .45 colt loads with 8.5 grns unique/250 cswc and never noticed any differnce . Just remembered the WW are marked std/mag
